I purchase the Monster Cable Powerline 200 to replace the stock power cord that came with my 200 watt B&K amplifer. Ultimately, the Powerline 200 was replaced by a PS Audio power cord, which proved to make an even bigger improvement in sound, especially in the bass department. It did just that improving the image quality and cohesiveness of the sound. I found it to be a relatively inexpensive way to improve the overall sound of my amplifier. All in all, the Powerline 200 is a good product though and I think it is worth a try. I now use it on my surround sound receiver.
I needed a longer cable for my tv since I moved my receiver to a component rank that was 3 ft from the TV. I got it on sale, but highly doubt this makes any difference than any other commercial IEC cord out there at half the price.I must say though.it's a heavy thick cord. The physical attributes are solid.
